How We Began
Construction for Change was built upon the belief that the value and service we provide is meant for others. In 2007, three graduating classmates from the University of Washington’s Construction Management program considered how their new-found skill sets could have long term impact.
They understood that buildings are a key access points for communities; physical places for people to come and receive healthcare treatment, attend school, learn vocational skills and more. CfC started with an ‘all-volunteer’ staffing model and began raising funds and building structures, one facility at a time.
