We are thrilled to welcome Erich Steyaert to the Construction for Change Family! Erich will be taking on the role of Fundraising and Development Coordinator. Born and raised in Ireland, Erich has always taken any opportunity to travel and work abroad. He has spent time volunteering with Dublin-based community outreach projects, building rain water harvesters in Ghana and teaching English at a Primary school in Zambia.

In 2015, Erich graduated from Dublin City University where he received his B.A. in International Relations with a focus on International Development. During his time at University, he combined his passions for Public Speaking and Global Politics to become Public Relations Officer for the Model UN Society.

Prior to joining us at Construction for Change, Erich worked with the Irish Cancer Society as a Fundraising Administrator. It was this role that cemented his desire to pursue a career in fundraising.

Upon his decision to make the big move to Seattle, Erich spent time researching the rich community of non-profit organizations based in the city. When he came across Construction for Change, he knew this was an organization he wanted to be apart of. Erich is looking forward to his involvement with the impactful work we do at CfC.

Apart from his busy schedule at CfC, Erich enjoys swimming, hiking, Guinness, learning French with his duolingo app, and is particularly obsessed with playing soccer. One of his favorite things to do is sit in a coffee shop with a book on a rainy day.

We are excited to bring Erich on board and utilize his expertise. Please join us as we welcome Erich to our team!
