Steve White joined the Board of Directors as Treasurer in 2017. With a great deal of experience in the not-for-profit business sector, Steve is currently the Controller at Pacific Northwest Research Institute (PNRI). As an experienced financial and business leader who thrives on problem solving and managing complex projects, while delivering key performance metrics to management to enable and inform strategic decision making. Having managed the completion of major capital campaigns, federal grants and contracts, and many other aspects of fiscal management in the not-for-profit sector, Steve brings a great deal of expertise in strategic financial management to the organization.
Steve has worked in many business sectors throughout his career. Prior to joining PNRI, Steve was the Controller at Pacific Science Center in Seattle, the Technical Controller at General Electric Capital in Melbourne, Australia, and served as the Senior most Fund Accountant at another international development organization, Small Enterprise Assistance Funds (SEAF) located in Washington, DC. He received his BS in Behavioral Finance from North Carolina State University, and his Masters in Accountancy for The George Washington University.
