Over the past 17 years, Construction for Change has helped build 128 schools, hospitals, and centers for economic development in 22 countries around the world. We love sharing the impact of the social infrastructure work at local Seattle events and on social media, and we appreciate the supportive response from the CfC community.
In February 2026, we’re heading to East Africa, and we’d love for you to join us! With just ten spots available, this is a unique opportunity to experience the impact of our work up close and connect with the communities we serve.

The Visit
The journey begins with a flight into Kampala, Uganda, where you’ll meet our CfC staff and visit two project sites over three days, with time to rest and settle in. On day four, we’ll take a short flight to Nairobi, Kenya, to visit two or three communities where CfC is at work. Depending on the timeline of our projects, you’ll have the opportunity to see construction underway, meet our partners, hear directly from them about the impact of this work, and observe how new infrastructure is transforming lives. Throughout the trip, you’ll enjoy comfortable accommodations, thoughtful transportation, and safe, delicious meals suited to American travelers.
At the end of the week, consider turning your trip into a bigger adventure! Take a world-class safari, unwind on the Kenyan coast, hike Mt. Kilimanjaro, or spend a few extra days exploring. Many flights route through Paris or London, making it easy to add a short stopover and make the most of your journey.
The Cost
We ask for a $2,000 contribution to cover on-the-ground costs, in addition to booking your flights. We’re happy to help you find the best flight options, and we’ll be there to welcome you at the airport when you arrive.
