Our Vision

Every building is an opportunity to provide communities and individuals access to life-improving services, yet disparity exists globally for under-resourced populations.

Our vision is to see everyone included and enabled by resilient and sustainable social infrastructure, regardless of age, gender, location, or socioeconomic status.

Our Mission

To support better access to social infrastructure through collaborative and resolute solutions that empower, advance and respect communities in need.

Our HISTORY

In 2007, three graduating classmates from the University of Washington considered how their new-found skill sets could have long-term impacts.

Construction for Change Co-Founders Nick Tosti, Elijah Grindstaff, and Mike McEvoy understood that buildings are key access points for communities, physical places for people to come and receive healthcare treatment, attend school, learn vocational skills, and more. By 2017, CfC expanded from its volunteer staffing model with one project a year to our current hub model with full-time employees and multiple projects worldwide.
