Mike McEvoy
Executive Director, Construction for Change
Co-founder, Construction for Change
Mike co-founded Construction for Change in 2007 after graduating from the University of Washington with a degree in Construction Management — believing buildings are critical hubs of health, educational and financial wellness from which ripples of goodness extend throughout a community.
For the past 19 years, Mike has built teams outside of CfC to enable the holistic health and development of college students, via church, education and other mission-driven organizations. From Alabama to Southern California to his recent return back home to Seattle, Mike has a passion for the development and empowerment of others and has always desired to be on the front lines of positive social change.
Returning to CfC, he is energized by the values that CfC currently holds, with a solid foundation and model for positive global impact. Mike also finds passion in building a better world through the joy of his marriage to his wife Rachel and his three wonderful girls Mira, Kyrie, and Jojo.

Join our mission and give communities in need a foundation to thrive — social infrastructure that is much bigger than the buildings we create.
At Construction for Change, we help non-profits and other organizations ensure the successful completion of social infrastructure projects around the world.
Our global partnerships with some of the top engineering, architectural and construction firms contribute to CfC’s cause, donating time and expertise in areas that lack access to basic necessities, such as healthcare, education, shelter, and food.
To aid in building economic independence, we employ local workers and regional experts who have relevant knowledge and can inspire the community. We are a team of embedded advocates who remove roadblocks to ensure equality with a focus on long-term impact.
Together, we are empowering women and girls, advancing equity, and building resilient, thriving communities around the world.
Every dollar strengthens CfC’s ability to build critical infrastructure and transform communities.
Empower Communities. Transform Lives. Advance Equity.
