Need & Opportunity

Kingdom Home has a mission to end child trafficking through prevention. Years of conflict and limited access to resources have left young Ugandans vulnerable to exploitation in rural and underserved areas. 1 in 10 children in Uganda is orphaned. In some areas of the country, 10% of the children have been trafficked.

Solution & Value Add

CfC served as Kingdom Home's owner's representative and advocate while constructing three family homes to house 40 children each. The design mirrors a traditional home, each with sleeping, bath, kitchen, and living spaces. Our project manager, Lillian, a Ugandan National, guided the planning and the management of the build, which included the construction and closeout phase of the project. Children began moving into their new homes in late 2021.
