Mike McEvoy

Mike McEvoy: Executive Director

Mike co-founded Construction for Change in 2007 after graduating from the University of Washington with a degree in Construction Management — believing that buildings are critical hubs of health, education, and financial wellness, creating lasting impact throughout a community.

Throughout the 18-year history of CfC, Mike has played many different roles as the organization has evolved from being volunteer-led for the first five years to the place it is today. Since graduating from college, Mike has been in nonprofit leadership, both with CfC and in the development of college-aged leaders. He has a passion for the development and empowerment of others and has always desired to be on the front lines of positive social change.

Energized by the values that CfC currently holds, he believes there is a solid foundation and model for positive global impact. Mike also finds passion in building a better world through the joy of his marriage to his wife, Rachel, and their four wonderful daughters — Mira, Kyrie, Jojo, and Charlie.
